ECMO-TB

Introduction: Tuberculosis can cause extensive lung damage leading to respiratory insufficiency. However, data on treatment outcome and clinical course of ECMO therapy in patients with tuberculosis is scarce due to low case numbers.

Objectives: Investigation of clinical data regarding clinical course and outcome of patients with ECMO therapy and tuberculosis.

Methods: Literature review, (individual patient data) meta analysis.
