LEVEL-UP-TB
Analysis of predictors for drug level exposure in drug-sensitive TB
Tuberculosis therapy is usuallay administered in weight adapted doses. However, factors like fast-metabolizing enzymes, malabsorption, and drug interactions can influence their serum drug levels. This is not yet taken into account as part of the clinical routine or therapeutic guidelines.
The LEVEL-UP-TB project evaluates different factors predicting serum drug levels of antimycobacterial therapy as well as their influence on therapeutic outcome.
