Europe-Wide survey on adjunctive surgical therapy in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
Introduction: Tuberculosis can cause extensive lung damage. This might contribute to prolonged therapies and adverse outcomes. In some patients, adjunctive therapy might be useful. However, there are no large studies and the landscape of existing experience regarding surgery in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is limited.
Objectives: To draw a detailed picture on existing experience of the usage of adjunctive surgery in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
Methods: Survey of health professionals.
